It's a show where each week a millionaire goes to an
impoverished community
pretending to be a regular person,
volunteers for a week,
and at the end gives away thousands of dollars to people
who are working to make the world a better place.
If I had tons of money, I can truly think of doing nothing better.

If you had $50,000 that you HAD to give away
{not to a friend or family member}
who or what group would you give it to?
I love that show as well. I have thought about your question for the past few weeks while watching that show and I still am not sure. We recently had a rep from the pregnancy center speak at our church and they are doing a great deal in the community to prevent abortions so I am thinking I would give a chunk to them. And we have a new pastor with tons of ideas and ways to to outreach so I would probably give a chunk to the church. And what I had left I would split between the 2 homeless shelters in the neighboring town. One is a mens shelter and one is for women and children.

United Cerebal Palsy. They run camps for kids all over America for children with CP. Or I would do Special Olympics. Hands down our top two Charity choices.
